Delectable dish Ava Vincent delves into a twisted tale of her psyche. Why can't she get a decent night's sleep? Who is the stranger that invades her dreams? Or is she dreaming at all?
The film is told through a series of visions that haunt Vincent, and as the story unfolds, we learn that Vincent's husband, Randy Spears, is plotting to kill her and run off with his mistress, Envy. As more of the story is revealed, the plot gets progressively surreal until it becomes a mish-mash of über-post-modernist porn with a dash of self-actualization, or a film that got lost on the way to David Lynch's Lost Highway.
This is not to say the film is not beautifully shot. Gold-painted porn stars Evan Stone, Jessica Drake and Envy team up for threesome that is at once erotic and artistic in its presentation. A young-looking Vincent, looking like Britney Spears (to the point of being slightly disturbing) couples with Dale DaBone in an anal locker room romp that ends with cum coating her pigtails.
In one of the more interesting scenes of the movie, Vincent is alone with her boss, Herschel Savage. In a juxtaposition of the usual fuck fare, Ava gets slap happy with Savage for a few minutes, telling him she wants to earn money the old fashioned way - by fucking the boss. Apparently a Marxist, Vincent is fond of saying bourgeois a lot during her rant, but Savage calms her proletarian spirit with a cock in her mouth.
Overall, an overly-surreal sex flick that caters to couples and closet communists. Art house film fans may have fun with it though.
