Hey, if the leather-clad-Dom-topping-two-female-subs-content is the same old, same old we've all seen countless times before, at least it's dressed up in a fairly handsome package.

Veteran specialty director Rick Savage demonstrates some nice artful touches throughout, including slow moody fades after each scene and several quieter, more intimate interactions between Mistress Dakota and slaves Brianna Bardot and Michele Gabriel. Other aesthetic pluses are that Dakota and Gabriel are especially attractive, the dungeon they play in is atmospheric and lush, and mistress's fetish garb is seriously first-rate (no cheap shit from the corner porn store).

On the other hand, the action is composed of the usual suspects - boot worship, nipple clamps, hot wax, etc. - and is far too mannered and genteel. And production values-wise, what's with that muffled crowd noise from the joint next door? Pain Pets couldn't have been shot at another, less conflicted time?
