Four girls, all wearing blue jeans. Such is the premise that binds Mitchell Spinelli's Blue Jean Blondes Volume 1. However, he may want to concentrate on more substance than style in his next volume.
Each of the three commercial scenes, two b/g pairings and one g/g, beginning with an interview set to bad, mutated, synth music in the background. Spinelli himself inadvertently describes his style of interviewing the best: "I have to follow you and ask you stupid questions," he said before starting an inane inquisition. Topics of discussion: The Beatles (Spinelli seems to love this one), what a girl will do for how much (Producers take note - Chirssy Sparks will douche and pee on camera for $500) and finally, to Ava Vincent, "Would you do OJ?"
The music only gets louder, and the production values lower. Most of the scenes are shot without the even the most basic use of lighting. What tries to pass as interesting in the way of angles becomes annoying (a shot of a couple fucking as reflected on a big-screen TV and shots with furniture in the way).
Sex is decent, but the noise of the wannabe techno drowns the ambient noise and distracts from the sex enough that it makes one wistful for the wah-wah of an electric guitar from a '70s porn flick.
Kudos to Jesse (who I would Pre-Nom for Best Ending of a Stupid Interview, if there was such a category) for shutting the door on Spinelli's face and later telling him, "It was time for you to leave."
Well said, Jesse.
