From Girlsway studio—producer of Missing: A Lesbian Crime Story, winner of Best All-Girl Movie at the 2017 AVN Awards—The Faces of Alice shows directors Bree Mills and Stills by Alan in a lighter vein, as evidenced by its cover tagline: “A Lesbian Comedy … With Personalities.” After exploring the heavier genres of horror, sci-fi, film noir and fairy tales, Faces of Alice is pure fun—a teen comedy laced with supernatural trappings.
Ably carrying the movie is Sara Luvv as Alice, a college student who’s hooking up hot and heavy with Dina (Bree Mills) but can’t bring herself to make their love public by attending the Queer Prom. After a hot romp that starts out warm and cuddly but heats up to boiling, Dina calls Alice on her hypocrisy and breaks things off.
Trying to make sense of her feelings, Alice dials a crisis hotline and gets the lowdown on a local “lesbian power circle” from counselor Ellen (Serena Blair). But when Alice tries to conjure up the goddess Aphrodite (Adriana Sephora) to help her win Dina back, things get wild—not only in the sack with the goddess of love, but also afterward, when Alice finds herself with a double dose of split personality, alternating between the ultra-butch Al, who favors flannel, and lipstick lesbian Alicia, who prefers a satin corset.
Luvv takes great care with portraying her three personalities, changing up not only how each one looks and talks, but also how she fucks. When Al comes upon Alice’s bicurious roommate Christy (Cadence Lux), she totally takes charge, strap-on and all—then the dom/sub dynamic abruptly changes when Alicia enters Alice’s body. It makes for an exciting, varied sex scene. Even more dynamic is the final group scene, where Al, Alicia, Alice and even Dina meld with the lesbian power circle.
This is Luvv’s show, and she pulls off the demanding multiple roles, buoyed by a good script by Mills, the usual polished Girlsway production values and a cast of luscious co-stars. What more could a fan of girl/girl porn want?
