Synopsis

Wicked Pictures and award-winning director Brad Armstrong present the dramatic story of Marissa (Mia Malkova), the 19-year-old daughter of a small-town preacher. She’s always been “Daddy’s little girl,” until she meets Billy (Xander Corvus), a boy from the wrong side of the tracks. Before long, the two become lovers, but Marissa’s perfect world is turned upside down as her mother (Alexis Fawx) and father (Brad Armstrong) forbid her from seeing Billy. Will she stay with her family and the church or will she risk everything to be with the man she loves?

Reviews

If Brad Armstrong deliberately set out to show his range as a writer-director in 2016, he certainly succeeded. In addition to tackling the big action thriller DNA, featuring Wicked contract stars, the writer-director also crafted this more intimate drama.

Beautiful as ever, Mia Malkova is the epitome of youthful sensuality in the title role in The Preacher’s Daughter. But the most intense relationship in the movie is not between the innocent Marissa and her bad-boy lover, Billy, played by Xander Corvus. Rather, it’s Billy’s conflict with Marissa’s father, a role filled by the director himself.

Armstrong wrote the screenplay with Corvus in mind, and the part fits the young man well. Billy effortlessly seduces Marissa in a pastoral outdoor picnic scene, showing a sweet side to her that contrasts with what he presents to the rest of the world. The preacher doesn’t want the town bad boy anywhere near his daughter—and his obsession with Billy leads him far from his calling as a man of God.

Both men seem to be having a lot of fun with these characters—Corvus as a smart-aleck tough guy and Armstrong a moralizing hypocrite—and they’re a pleasure to watch. And since this is, after all, an adult movie, they’re surrounded by attractive females. In addition to Malkova, there’s pretty Blair Williams as Marissa’s bicurious girlfriend; stunning Jessa Rhodes as Trina, the waitress who serves Billy more than chicken fried steak; and sexy Mercedes Carrera as a trailer-trash tramp. And almost unrecognizable in her modest hausfrau disguise is MILF Performer of the Year nominee Alexis Fawx, who submerges herself deep in the role of the preacher’s wife.

Overall this is an enjoyable and sexy ride with good performances all around. The quality extends to the cinematography, production design and even the soundtrack is award-worthy. From top to bottom, it’s first-rate erotic entertainment.
