Dream Catcher (a perfect-rated Editor's Choice, April '98) combines director Michael Ninn's signature high-end visuals with some genuinely superb sex, including an opening three-on-one featuring Helen Duval, and a Jill Kelly/Eric Price anal in a rain-soaked alley.  Outstanding video boasts balanced color and razor-sharp detail; and the Dolby Surround tracks are spacious-sounding and clean.

Jim Holliday's Sorority Sex Kittens 3 (Editor's Choice, January '97) features tease sequences galore and no less than eight sex scenes, most notably a 30-girl gash-athon that segues into a mini-gangbang when T.T. Boy shows up and hammers nearly half the women in the scene.

Both discs feature chapter stops, photo galleries, trailers for other VCA DVDs, and brief filmographies/videographies of their respective stars.

With a running time of 138 minutes (plus supplements), SSK3 suffers visually from the lower bit rate necessary to fit all that material onto a single side of a disc; there's quite a bit of pixelation, particularly during the sex scenes.  Splitting the program over two sides of a disc or RSDL formatting would likely have solved the problem, but the former is considered a major inconvenience by many consumers, and the latter is exceedingly cost prohibitive for the adult industry.  As technology improves and costs for manufacturing come down, we may one day see a remastered version of SSK3.  All things considered, this is probably the best version that can reasonably be expected at this time.
