This feature is actually titled 9 Lives of a Wet Pussy, but for obvious reasons, when it was released in the early '80s, that title wouldn't fly on the theater marquee. It claims to be based on a French film, Les Femmes Blanches (The White Women), and no wonder: Except for a fair amount of dialogue, solo action and topless walks in the woods by "gypsy" Dominique Santos, the entire movie is excerpted and dubbed from that French film, which starred Pauline LaMonde as a young libertine in what looks like I970s France.
The American version tries to walk that fine line between art and heat, usually erring too far onto the art side, but LaMonde does manage a couple of decent scenes: One with a gas station attendant in the ladies room, and another with the stable-boy in the hay in a horse stall. Less interesting is her seduction, with her "sister," of her drunken father, and a girl/girler that leaves a lot to the imagination.
