While it's not clear what criteria New Machine and/or Ed Powers are using to determine which Debs volumes will be released and in what order, this latest selection amounts to a fair representation of the line, which has released more than 50 video volumes since the beginning of 2000.

Technically, each disc is excellent, delivering a reasonably sharp image with minimal amounts of color moire — considering the original material New Machine had to work with. Two of the original videos had major problems with lighting the action, and in the scene with Coco in MDD 103, her skin tones change from white to yellow depending on-which camera's shot is being used. The discs also boast "multi-angles," and what there is of them is truly multiple angle. Trouble is, the effect is rarely used — and worse, you won't be able to find those parts by scanning; the icon isn't visible in scan mode.
