Reviews

This beautiful film is geared toward couples, with a romantic plot-line and an eye toward realism. Asia Carrera is our main character who frequently flashes back to her fantasy life as Mozart's prodigy and main squeeze. The costumes and sets are beautiful with extravagant dresses and white wigs throughout the flashbacks. The entire movie is littered with wonderful classical music played by Carrera herself. Definitely a fantastic movie for couples or a date because though the sex is hot, it is not raunchy and the plot will keep the interest of female viewers.

The disc itself is an excellent transfer from film, though the original print has a bit of a grainy quality to it. The colors are nicely balanced in both dark and well-lit scenes. There is a slight bit of NTSC noise visible in the picture, but nothing that should keep interested buyers away.

Additional footage and scenes can be found on disc two (included with the feature). This disc includes a fast-paced bloopers reel, trailers for six other high-quality couples flicks from Adam & Eve, and trailers for the Simon Wolf Trilogy, which also features Carrera. In addition, disc two has two bonus scenes which were cut from the original movie, two director's cut scenes that have been re-cut to include additional footage, and interview clips with Bud Lee, Asia Carrera, and other cast members. Among the more generic features of this disc there is a link to adameve.com, a video reel listing all of the AVN Awards Adam & Eve has won, a quality reel of sex scenes from a variety of Adam & Eve flicks, and biographical interviews with the cast members. Overall, a quality disc and a pre-nom for DVD Extras.
