Karlie Montana resumes her role as Scarlet in Shades of Scarlet 2: Higher Power. The movie opens with the author, Roz Collins, taking his own life in an alcohol-induced haze. The story that unfolds is that of journalist Kendra Lust working on furthering her career by finding out exactly why the erotic author would do such a thing.
This feature has substance that justifies all the depravity. When the plot is centered on an elusive and erotic author focusing on BDSM, the sex isn’t superfluous but necessary. Kendra must decide if furthering her career is worth risking her marriage and her boundaries.
With a healthy plot and solid performances, this is a perfect feature for anyone intrigued by the 50 Shades phenomenon. Anticipation builds after Tommy Pistol slave-fucks Abella Danger in front of Kendra, as a test to see if she’s ready for what she is getting herself into.
