Vampires deal with their needs, both carnal and sanguinary, in this cable-safe (nudity si, nookie, no) contemporary noir set in L.A. Conflicts between vampires and vamp followers start when a follower tosses a vampire outside at sunup. A reporter tries to investigate the burned-up remains, and complications ensue when the follower finds that she may be a "true vampire," who can return to mortality - or become the ruler of all vampires.
More complications ensue when the reporter sends a colleague to check out a local eternally-youthful power broker at one of his legendary parties. She checks him out all right. Horizontally. And pays for her curiosity in blood. And when the true vampire comes to the height of her powers at the eclipse...
Production values and acting are better than porn, but not up to the ILM standard. Good locations help add value as well.
