Steven St. Croix is opening his bar tonight, and his old college buddies are coming by. St. Croix is apprehensive, as is barmaid Kody ("I'm not gonna have to look for another job, am I?"). An interesting group shows up: St. Croix's ex-wife Lezley Zen, a raging bitch; St. Croix's friend Savanna Samson, "a big ol' dyke" (Zen's words) before she hooked up with St. Croix; and horny couple Lola and Mickey G., who consummate in the ladies' loo before announcing their engagement to the group. The couples mix and match before single mother Samson and St. Croix hook up again, perhaps for good.
Underplayed acting and character-driven sex highlight this small production, which makes up in warmth what it lacks in bombast. Pre-nom for Tommy Ganz' and Miles Long's music score.
