Joyful, innocent, filled with sensual pleasures, Momentum has crossed international waters to delight fans of non-traditional erotica. From Lightsouthern, an Australian adult studio, the movie is directed by Michelle Flynn and is an evocative look at a group of young women growing up in a beach town in the 1970s.
Three girls pile into a vintage turquoise and white sedan and head for the beach on a postcard-perfect day, playing in the waves before two of them settle down to make out while brunette beauty Lily Rei (who calls to mind Jenna J. Ross) pleasures herself. The camerawork is gorgeous, and it transports the viewer directly to that beach, with the sun blazing down and the waves dancing in the distance.
There are two more sex scenes, both with the same naturalistic, sensuous vibe. A young man and woman makes love in a red wagon, the sun so bright outside that they appear to be floating on a cloud. Sometimes we see them from outside the car, creating a voyeuristic charge, while in other angles we’re right there in the car with them, as they bump and grind in the cramped space.
The third scene features performer Chloe B. gliding by on roller skates to meet a girlfriend. In a living room with slanting orange afternoon sunlight and 1970s earth-toned décor, they settle into each other’s bodies with curiosity, kissing and stroking until their breath quickens and each climaxes separately and intensely.
Somewhat brief with just three sex scenes, the main feature feels a bit thin—but there’s more in the BTS. Even better, this is just the first in the series, with the second due to arrive on our shores in September.
