The Collectors has a terrific hook: rich women abducting and trading male vagabonds for sexual kicks. With more attention spent on the script's theme and characters, this could have easily become one of the year's most intriguing and exciting features. Unfortunately, any semblance of plot is abandoned and the release quickly falls into a standard wall to wall presentation of by-the-numbers sex scenes.
