In this latest delve into David Stanley's imagination, Lexi Belle has been holed up in a hotel room for two weeks, hiding from "the twins" from whom she stole a valise full of money. "Do you think when they find us they'll kill us?" she asks Evan Stone, who reassures her that the twins won't find them.
"You don't believe the twins are real, do you?" Lexi asks.
The next morning, when Evan is brushing his teeth, Lexi is confronted by the twins. Or maybe not. Evan assures her that he believes her. But maybe he doesn't.
In a lengthy flashback, we see Lexi taking off with a valise full of money—or so she says—and heading off to the woods with Stone. A confrontation between the two of them and a forest ranger devolves into a debauched three-way, and when Lexi sees two blonde twins cavorting with Xander Corvus she runs away. Evan follows but isn't sure why.
Back at the hotel, Evan gets out of bed, dresses and leaves, and Lexi finds herself alone with the twins, who check out the valise and then have their way with Lexi—but when Evan comes back, he finds Lexi furiously masturbating, and when he finally looks in the valise it suddenly becomes clear—or even more confusing.
On Planet Stanley anything is possible, and figuring out what's real and what's illusion is the puzzle. It's like Buñuel with hardcore sex, plus the Pulp Fiction where-did-that-shot-come-from game. We spotted Seconds and Vertigo.
Kudos to Lexi Belle for a nom-worthy acting performance.
