With her constant runs for political office and attention, Mary Carey ought to at least try to live up to her designated assignment as "porn star." Unfortunately, her adult biz offerings are too often by the numbers, and she seems like she'd rather be doing anything else than fucking on camera. This is no exception.

Credit should go to director Cash Markman for making the best of what he has to work with, but this title will probably only appeal to die-hard Carey fans.

Those hoping for Mary's immolation in Mary Carey on Fire will be disappointed. There's no fire, real or figurative.
