Reviews

DVDChi Chi LaRue is famous for directing hot all-sex movies and he only occasionally steps out of that mold to tackle a full-on plotted movie. This is one of those occasions and it's a smashing success. And street angel Johnny Hazzard as the Nowheresville lad who wants something better is one of those strokes of casting that is both lucky and brilliant. Emotions subtle and extreme believably play across his movie star face as he encounters situations ranging from threatening to tempting to everyday to violent (pre-nom Actor). Sexually, Johnny Hazzard is a marvel. He's in six of the ten scenes and you never get tired of watching him. He does everything so well it's almost as if he's not being directed. (We're not including his grasping his ass-cheeks and yanking them apart so we can goggle at Tyler Riggz' immense cock thrusting into his hole - thank you, Chi Chi.) All of the sex scenes, which range from duos to LaRue's trademark group scenes, are wonderful, but two deserve special mention: hitchhiker Johnny and Tyler in a van, where Johnny goes from a resigned let's-just-get-through-this to Sweet-Jesus-give-me-that-cock! (pre-nom Sex Scene); and coked-to-insanity Jacob Slader cursing and pounding and kicking the motel room wall and powerfucking Joey Jay. Acting is at a high caliber throughout: Marcus Iron as the smooth hustler who mentors Johnny, Chad Savage (pre-nom Supporting Actor) as the rich guy who falls for Johnny, and Luca DiCorso as Chad's queeny boyfriend deliver top-notch performances. In a novel extra, LaRue provides three possible endings to the story. Other pre-noms: Picture, Director, Screenplay, Videography, Editing, Music.

Retailing: Stock generously. This is one of the best of the year.
