The ridiculous circus duds in The Carnival make for some limp-dicked viewing; even the models seem to be having a hard time getting boners. Between the lad dressed like Peter Pan, his buddy, got up in an Indian costume, complete with full headdress, or their giddy host who's a shoo-in for the forgotten Musketeer, it's a wonder anyone finds the erotic inspiration to get this carnival-themed sex party underway. When the guys do manage to shuck their unfortunate duds, the sex is formulaic and without surprise. Not that the models don't have some appeal - they do. Most are smooth, fit, and lean. However, none of them can rival the unfortunate pizzazz of their clown drag. The best that The Carnival has to offer is the five-man orgy that brings this festive little film to a close.
