DVDThe kidnapping of swarthy soldier Julian Veneziano by a small army of great-looking and ready-to-fuck hunks gets this one off to an interesting start. The camouflage costumes, footage of tanks and guns, and a grainy ransom video all add to the realism, but in the end the sex is no better or worse than your average release from Eastern Europe. Camerawork varies from interestingly lit to blurry, and the frame is often a long shot, which creates unwanted distance from the sucking and fucking. The Abu Ghraib-ish torture scene undeniably shows that the images from there are now deeply ingrained into the global Zeitgeist.
