The first and the last scenes in this story are one helluva show; folks -- buy your tickets now!  But, of course, centered on star Jeff Stryker, but he is also the focus of the tape's most disappointing episode (the elevator threeway with Beaumont and Meselli). The difference lies not in Stryker, who remains himself through thick and thin, but in the chemistry he ignites only with certain partners.  Cellmate Doug Niles and prison guard Joe Cade generate a sexual heat that makes the first scene unforgettable, while in the last scene Alex Stone gives a heart-stopping performance as Stryker's at-home lover. And, as the publicity promised, Stryker does in fact expand his sexual repertoire -- but with Stone for a partner, who wouldn't?

The seven scenes include one other weak link: Neil Thomas's impersonation of a macho top, which gets worse and worse with each repetition.  Thomas just doesn't have it in him. But with two exceptionally strong scenes and only two that falter, the feature scores well above average.  As for Stryker's direction and Nick Eliot's photography, they may not be state-of-the-art, but they are more than competent throughout.  It is obvious that both genuinely care about their work -- and these days that's no small compliment.  Should do excellent on a wholesale and retail level, due to Stryker's underexposure.  Stores who carry gay videos must stock this.
