Tad Garrett, the Peter Frampton of gay video, welcomes a new boarder played by Jeremy Foxx, to a household that we never really see, and they go together to a strangely quiet gay bar where Garrett picks up "straight boy" Vic Hall and services him in the alley.  Seeing Garrett's giant mane of late '70s disco hair going down on Hall in what seems like an endless oral scene reminds me of what the Cookie Monster might look like devouring a case of stale ladyfingers.  Hall is stunning physically, but constantly looks mean and cruel and is 100 percent non-reciprocal.

Meanwhile, Foxx has a series of feverish dreams in which he pines and whines for his dream lover, who appears to him in a vision on a darkened set backed by twinkle lights and fog.  Mitch Taylor plays the ethereal one, and when he and Foxx finally connect, their scene is extremely pretty but sexually tedious.  The very limp Taylor pays a lot of attention to Foxx's butthole but never consummates the flirtation.  Instead, Foxx fucks Taylor and there is a hasty fade to black.  The heavy-handed message seems to be that guys who give in to sexual voraciousness (Garrett) get treated like dirt, while guys who save themselves for romance (Foxx) disappear into thick fogs and never come back.  A video with a theme this dark ends high-energy performances to carry it, and this one has none.  It is credited with two A's primarily for its attractive art direction in the final scene and superior videography throughout.
