Even in this slight sequel, Sam Abdul proves that he knows how to direct a sex scene. Featuring about half the cast of Part 1, the various couplings of soldiers in and out of uniform will certainly satisfy fans of the military genre. Social commentary — two guys get discharged for fucking — is judicious and thought-provoking. Popularity of the first Military Issue will also help win this title rentals.

However, those accustomed to Abdul's very high production standards may be disappointed. Mediocre lighting, short length and uninspired editing are not up to this director's usual level.
