Director Butch Detroit indulges his military fetish with three vignettes about discipline and induction. First, two guards (Steven David and Alex Cougar) take out their frustrations on Lee Kasdan, who's confined to quarters polishing his boots — whatever rule he broke, surely this wasn't the intended punishment! Then two MP's (Randy Storm and Dex Westin) find Cliff Warner passed out in a bar and revive him to administer some rough military justice. Finally, major-dicked Major Owens (Trevor Cummings) interviews soldier wanna-be Austin Raver and shows that while gays may not recruit, the military does.

There's a grittiness in Detroit's videos that you won't find in slicker releases, but that works to his advantage in Major Owens, thanks to the no-holds-barred enthusiasm of the cast. The MP threeway is especially impressive; these guys are hard enough to hammer nails throughout the whole scene, as Detroit repeatedly demonstrates with his loopy in-your-face camera angles. Some directors want their videos to be pretty; Detroit just wants to be nasty. This theme will work well in your store, so stock this one.
