Brian's Boys (also available in some releases as Brian's Men) dates from 1983, and it's great to have it available for new audiences.  There's a real effort at acting that makes the scenes seem like a lost art.  Having said that, this is a rough transfer, obviously due to the source material, and it's clear that some of the footage is missing.  Despite the closing credits, there is no scene between Aaron Cage and Mark Davis on this release; perhaps it has been lost. Despite the roughness of the transfer and the incompleteness of the feature, this gem from a bygone era is still a joy.  There's even an original song!
