With so many new studios edging into the bareback market, each trying to snatch a piece of the action, it pays to be on your game. Tipo Sesso fumbles with this one, offering up four lukewarm scenes with questionable production values. The strange lighting is the most distracting thing of all, painting some of the models in a haze of burnt sienna. The opening encounter is probably the film’s strongest as the models have some chemistry. But the film’s overall appeal dwindles quickly, after, say, the first 20 minutes. Several of the guys do double duty, appearing in more than one scene. And maybe it’s the camera angles, but the guys look a bit bony, spines and hips poking out from underneath pale skin. The final black mark on this Tipo Sesso flick is a creepy public service announcement that precedes the film about crystal meth addiction and treatment. While the message is important, this ill-placed PSA immediately kills the sex buzz.
