These French daddies are a bit different than their American counterparts. While these men are definitely more mature, they lack the boots-and-leather bravado and aesthetic typical of, say, San Francisco's South-of-Market set. Despite some phenomenally aggressive bottoming displayed in the first scene by a slightly beefy rent boy, Daddy's in the Wind has a very unenergetic pacing to it. For example, the majority of the action takes place in the second scene in which two couples are going at it simultaneously in a sun-drenched villa with hardwood floors and a table set for four. In the background is a cat, licking her paws, who takes center stage for several moments as the director takes a break from all of the l?amour in the room. The photography is quite vivid, both indoors and out on the beach, but the slow motion scenes can have a vaguely major-league-sports instant replay feel to them.
