Like most of director Csaba Borbély's costume epics, this one gets bogged down by a silly, incomprehensible plot, too-lavish costuming, and glaring anachronisms, like a mural on a supposedly ancient wall that features modern-day sailors fucking. Performances by the buff, handsome cast fare better, and cum-shots are prolific and plentiful. Maybe the Romans didn't know about rimming (highly unlikely) but there is complete lack of tongue-fucking throughout. Even so, the cast doesn't ignore ass-play entirely, and heavy finger-fucking foreplay often is featured. A fevered fourplay scene featuring beefy Alfredo Castaldo, Antonio Martinelli, Eric Flower, and Xavier Demarco provides a sizzling finale. All four studs provide a thrilling array of versatile skills as they suck and fuck each other to huge spritzes of cum at the end. The other standout scene occurs in a public bath, a threeway that offers beautiful Fredy Costa fucking his co-stars, he-man Andreas Harris and hunky Dean Michaels. Live sound captures literally every (perhaps too many) moan and groan along the way, and camerawork is expertly rendered, from wide-shots to close-ups of the action.

Retailing: Warn customers about the lack of rimming. Otherwise the performances of the handsome, muscular cast make this well worth a look.
