Not since GAYVN Hall of Famers Lukas Ridgeston and Johan Paulik came out of Eastern Europe via Bel Ami has director George Duroy come up with a greater crop of young studs as he has in Greek Holiday. This is the first time in a while that Duroy has gone back to the languid, supererotic videos like Sauna Paradiso and Lukas' Story where a meandering storyline follows the lads through a series of hot sexual encounters, usually seen through a pair of innocent and curious eyes. He eases into the sexual encounters as part of the everyday lives of the guys, and doesn't turn them into brightly lit extravaganza moments with "blam-blammity-blam" hump-music blaring in the background. Whether the guys are pulling each other's pants off while driving in a jeep along a coastal road, or paling around in a marketplace filled with shoppers and tourists, they ooze sensuality, reality, and healthy open gay sexuality.

Cute-as-a-button Tim Hamilton with his floppy, blond mop of hair flashes his baby blues and can make both girls and guys melt. He's on a cruise ship with his boyfriend, played by Tommy Hansen, and they're both very openly a couple and very okay about it despite the fact that it's an obviously mixed cruise. When Tommy heads to the ship's store to buy a "scent" that will drive Tim wild (and taking inordinately long about it, by the way), Tim wastes no time putting down his book and grabbing a quickie with one of the ship's staff who's standing at the helm with a hard-on in his tight white sailor uniform.

However, Hamilton's best pairing is an award-worthy scene with Jeff Daniels. They have a fascinating "chat"-both of them talk a lot during sex-and show each other great oral technique while discussing other private things. ("You're losing your hair," says Tim while giving Jeff a blowjob.) Their Slovakian chatter is subtitled and hysterical.

The camerawork is also worthy of a GAYVN pre-nom, and it's not just the beautiful scenery of Greece. The outdoor shots, which include creative panning from a yacht in the harbor to a close-up of Tommy Hansen and Tim Hamilton having sex on a rock high on a cliff, are breathtaking in more than one way.

All six sex scenes are scintillating. The guys are perpetually hard and raring to go. Tim and Tom link up with Jeff and Mark and seek out a special cruise of their own. Dressed up as captain and galley boy, Julian Armanis and Gilles Marais welcome the four guys onto their luxury yacht and then they mix up the couples. (Armanis' ravaging of Marais' ass is worthy of repeated viewing.)

It's true that not all the lads resemble the buffed Adonis you'd expect to find on Mount Olympus, but they do come across as guys-next-door who love having sex. They do have defined muscles and hardly any pubic hair, but they're more natural than most of the carbon-copied automatons seen in U.S. vids these days. This is a must-own for any porn collector.
