Young Puerto Ricans from New York dress hip-hop complete with bling-bling, speak street talk like they are reading lines, and then engage in formulaic, unenthusiastic sucking and fucking under yellow stage lights. Everything seems fake, especially the sex which is totally detached. Most performers have problems achieving as well as maintaining wood, and that doesn't add much to the excitement factor. They are lethargic and some appear to be stoned or at least acting like it. The squalor of the inner city has often been represented in a way that appeals to suburban fantasies, but sadly, it is not the case here.
