In Brother Hustlers, Tiger Media has put together a very good young cast and written a vaguely coherent story about a young man who runs a fantasy escort service. His star fantasized-about-one is his “brother” Steven who, as we are constantly reminded, gets nightly lessons from little brother Timothy on the subject of “receptiveness”. All of this would be fine and good if it weren’t for a meat-packer’s approach taken to the dialogue. The junior James describes his boys to his customers over the phone like a barker at a slave auction. It comes across not nearly so hot as abrasive.
The video does get some points for casting: newcomers Adams and Williams are both terrific. They are the two in the cover art but not the “brother hustlers” of the title and, sadly, don’t perform together. The supporting cast is solid and the sex is well above average. Timothy James is particularly competent as the street-wise dispatcher. The camerawork and editing, sadly, are more on a level with the dialogue. Lighting levels often fluctuate as you watch, as someone plays with the camera iris settings. Sex is halted abruptly for cut-a-ways setting up the next scene. This overlapping dilutes the integrity of the sex. If this cast could be picked up and lifted to a story about almost anything else less obvious, the production would definitely be more of a keeper. Worth a look for stores carrying gay video.
