According to Catalina, this compilation tape of various odds and ends (no pun intended) includes never-before-released material along with footage from tapes previously given limited exposure through mail order. Even so, Jeff Stryker’s headliner appearance is familiar stuff extracted from Portrait of Jeff Stryker. (Another Portrait segment, of Jeff showering, has already been remarketed as a “For Ladies Only” tape).
Beyond that, most of The Look is new to this viewer – and pretty damned hot. Joe Gibbons appears with the unreciprocal “Mr. Celebrity Sex,” whose face will apparently be recognized by daytime soap fans. Eric Radford, T.J. Stryker and Dean Chassen each do a solo turn; Chassen was a big star for Falcon years back, and this solo-jerk looks like a screen test for a comeback (I guess he flunked).
The real discovery is “Don’t Stop the Train,” featuring Kevin Williams and Jon Vincent in a dirty-talking, athletically performed duet so hot it’s impossible to imagine why it ended up as an outtake. I guess Vincent’s ascending star status for other videomakers convinced the brass at Catalina to reevaluate. Jeff Stryker’s fans may be disappointed with his rehash on this tape, but Jon Vincent’s will be very satisfied.
