Yet another flimsy plot (an exchange of letters between buddies, one of whom is in the Navy) is redeemed by solid action, intelligent direction, and a hot cast.  For some reason known only to the powers that be at Catalina, Danny Summers receives last billing - when in fact he steals the show from everyone else in sight.  But no one is bad, and the videography by Orlando Bello is tolerable, if not up to the standards set by Catalina's resident videographic genius, Josh Eliot.
