In many ways, this is Colbert's best effort as a director. The plot - yet another detective story, this one centered on the theft of a rare stamp - hangs together and the sexual episodes are at least peripherally related. Furthermore, this is certainly the best cast that Colbert has yet assembled, with Jason Ross and Mark Andrews turning in delightful performances as two preppies from the same snobby school. Butch Taylor makes an agreeably sardonic insurance investigator - and there the acting ends. The opening scene with Ross and Andrews is the sexiest, and clearly raises the title a cut above the average.
