This combination of good humor, good acting, and generally hot action has a simple but endearing plot: Two Kansas bumpkins (Daniels and Bowman) travel to a gay resort in Palm Springs and go absolutely gaga when their favorite soap opera star (Storm) shows up incognito. They place a bet to see who can "meet" him first -- and their various schemes involve wit and cleverness as well as sexual hijinks. The major problem is the casting of Randy Storm as the soap opera star - he neither looks nor acts the part and radiates about as much charisma as a bowl of Jell-o. His dullness is particularly apparent in the final scene when live-wires Daniels and Bowman finally corner their prey; as a result, what should have been the video's"grand finale" becomes a disappointment. It's much more fun watching Daniels and Bowman set their traps. I only wonder why they worked so hard for so little reward.
