This unpretentious little soap opera focuses on how a stranger (Kevin Marsh) influences the lives of a group of gay men living in the same building. Jay Corey picks up the stranger at the bus station and brings him home. Although the story is not well developed, the skeletal plot is charming and sustains the viewer's interest. In addition, Hunter includes several imaginative variations in the sexual action (particularly in the Hall/Daniels scene) and offers one scene of unusual intensity: the "break-up" of Mixer and Rahm. Two very fine actors share the screen and give us far more than we expect. On the whole, this video is yet another example of Hunter's ability to transcend the budgetary limitations of a B-line production.
