What a delightful idea! The neglected lover (Sommers) of a famous gay porn star (Travis) seeks to rekindle marital lust by writing a series of anonymous down-and-dirty fan letters to his own spouse. The plot is further complicated by a nymphomaniac "best girl" (Gender), who just can't keep her hands off the actors, and a director (LaRue) determined to keep her star a hot box office draw. Both Travis and Sommers are charming - my only complaint is that with a lover like Danny at home, it seems highly unlikely that Arik - or anyone else, for that matter - could ignore him! Oh well, there's no accounting for bad taste.
The major problem with this production (other than its short running time) is the videography, which suffers on two counts: The camera itself is of dubious quality (approaching amateur status), and Orlando Bello hasn't yet learned how to shoot a sex scene. Too many clinical how to shoot a sex scene. Too many clinical close-ups, almost no mid or long shots, and lighting that approaches atrocity in the last scene. Too bad - with better technical support this could have been a major release.
