The brain-dead script for this lackluster video is predicated on the unlikely notion that old-fashioned party lines (where Aunt Ethel could listen in on the neighbors' secret conversations) are still around. In this case, it's plumply muscled Ty Russell who's been listening in on Chad Donovan's dirty phone calls, much to Chad's disgust.

The idea has both comic and erotic possibilities, but the story here is all crossed wires and muddled transmission — there's at least one major lapse of logic when a scene builds up to the wrong partners having sex! None of this would really matter, of course, if the sex was terrific, but it's only passable. With no bona fide star to build the video around, and not much stylistic panache, Party Line ends up being a series of wrong numbers. Hang up and try again.
