It seems a bit late to be doing a copy-cat version of Madonna's tour documentary, but director Stevens nevertheless indulges in the sincerest form of flattery. The cast play truth and dare (which is shot in black and white), which leads to the sex (shot in color). The truths are all rather mild and artificial. (Did you ever have a really great three-way? Did you ever let yourself totally lose control?) Oddly, it seems that no one in the group has ever had sex anywhere except at the Playground sex club in San Francisco. On the plus side is some hot and sweaty action between the attractive players, a sleazy atmosphere, and an effective electronic score by Wonderland. Decent, but Truth & Dares won't make you feel like "... you've been touched for the very first time."
