Paul Barresi plays a mart-suited gangster in this well-crafted homage to The Godfather. It takes a while to introduce all the characters, but before you think you may have picked up a mainstream movie, there's suddenly some raw sex going on.
The non-sexual roles are priceless, including LaRue's fey priest; Jason Nikas as a gangster moll; stunning, jilted wife Julie Winchester and Jamie Gillis braving a rival gangster; and Barresi's notably awards-worthy role. But, of course, it's the sex that sells, and with dark and handsome Damian Ford teaming up with Paul Carrigan, and with guy-next-door Drew Andrews mixed with massive Max Grand, the plot could be easily forgotten.
