This tape marks Ty Fox's first video since he was outted as a gay porn star by the Washington Post and lost his teaching license, and purports to tell his side of the story. But it's mainly about an obsessed young fan (Armstrong) who, unable to get Ty into bed, sets off the scandal. The result is a good but standard porn video, with ambitions that far exceed the narrative and journalistic abilities of director Douglas and co-scripter Fox. A genuine docudrama about the Fox affair would be fascinating, but this, unfortunately, isn't.
