In this sequel to The Hotel, director David Thompson takes an incredibly weak screenplay and tries to squeeze blood out of a stone.
Thom Southern is a psychiatrist having recurring dreams about a young man coming into his bedroom and seducing him. The young man turns out to be a patient of his, Michael Crawford. Crawford, repeating his role from the first video, plays a screwed-up nutcase trying to tell anyone who will listen about a mysterious hoel in the middle of nowhere that lets guests in… but doesn't let them leave. However, as awful as the uncredited screenplay is, the exact opposite can be said for the sex. Sexually, it's full of some of the best scenes Thompson's captured on video to date. The dicks are hard, the men are into each other and he gets some amazing moments.
The editing is terrific, bouncing the viewer back and forth effortlessly with flashbacks to the previous film.
But beware the screenplay, some of the hammy acting and the outtakes at the end of the video. All are frightening.
