The voice-overs that introduce each vignette are surprisingly literary, even lyrical, and director Donner is clearly aiming for something beyond your average porn video.

Give him the best actors in the business and top-flight production, and the result could be as atmospheric and moody as Donner intends. Here, the cast is cute and capable and production is passable, but the vision never jells.
