Box cover photography is gorgeous, and the cast of primo studs will certainly help to prime interest.

Logan reed narrates the story, but this video would be more accurately titled Cutter’s Journey. In a nutshell, Cutter West and Reed were close buddies back home. Logan got out, but Cutter is still stuck in Nowheresville, U.S.A. with his homophobic father. He writes passionate letters to Reed, waiting for the day when he can join his friend in the relative comfort of a gay ghetto like West Hollywood. If you can’t guess the ending, you haven’t seen a whole lotta gay porn. Reed, damned attractive, has screen presence to spare; West is a more wooden actor, but still cuddly.

Opening scene is a scorcher, and a clear pre-nom in a variety of categories. Cole Tucker plays a mechanic who puts his workers through their paces, and in this case they turn out to be luscious blond newcummer Wade Peters and a spitfire by the name of Chris Rock. From Tucker’s trash talk, to Rock’s butt-munching and Peter’s skill at cock-sucking, the very long encounter is worth multiple rewinds, and, in fact, overshadows the entire video. None of the following scenes match it on technical merit or sexual heat.

Drew Andrews, Brad King and West do their best, though, and it is obvious that Andrews and King dig each other. Paul Morgan and Duncan Milles, another cute new face, pair up to good effect in the third scene before West and Reed have their long-awaited reunion in front of a crackling fire. Reed is, of course, always watchable, and West finally seems to shake off his lethargy for their big moment. Still, it pales in comparison to the Tucker/Rock/Peters triple-play. All of the scenes have their moments, but the video needed more spit and polish to ratchet up to its overall worth.
