Any chance Semper Fi has of being erotic is shot to hell by the filmmaker's off-camera litany, which is so distracting, it's a wonder his subjects, a series of amateur "booties," are able to get it up. His lecherous and predatory comments put both the young men he films and the audience ill at ease. Referring to himself as "uncle", his occasional pale and pudgy hand sneaks into frame, momentarily latching onto the thigh of a particular model and permanently souring whatever erotic value the moment may have had. As the elder filmmaker slyly says at one point, "I get my free feels where I can." This action is made up of mostly solos, straight and wan recruits watching hetero porn and masturbating. And much like the models themselves, viewers may find themselves aching to bolt from the room and quickly forget the whole sordid encounter.

RETAILING: With tons of authentic hetero grunts, this film may appeal to military fetishists.
