The debut title from this new distributor tells the tale of a hunky warlord-turned-slave (played by the ever-stunning George Vidanov under yet another pseudonym) who learns the pleasures of male-on-male sex from a horny Emperor. Sets, costumes and the overall production design are superb. Scoring and dubbed English dialogue is florid and melodramatic. Vidanov and Janos Volt (also using an unidentified pseudonym) are the most recognizable faces among the cast of uniformly buffed and beautiful men, most of whom are familiar to fans of Eastern European porn.
Typically for this genre, the sex is pleasing to watch but not especially involving; it skips over kissing and rimming, focusing instead on pillowy butts plowing away at a couple of willing bottoms. A born performer, Vidanov is again the exception and conveys more passion than the entire cast combined.
Solid pre-nom for Best Art Direction.
