Director Phil St. John revives and updates his popular 1985 film Getting It and does a pretty good job at it. The original film starred Jim Bentley as a college student who longed for best friend Shawn Michaels. Performers who appeared in that version included such popular folk as Jon King, Chris Allen, Rick Donovan and Dane Ford.

In this version, instead of taking place at a party at a buddy's house where sex happened in virtually every room (and outside as well), the story takes place at a rave, where guys dance around in elaborate outfits and the art direction is stunning, definitely deserving of a Best Art Direction pre-nom. The amount of time that must have been put in on the sets and the costumes shows and they are amazing. Also nom-worthy, while we're at it, is the music, which is terrific.

Hans Ebson takes over the Bentley role - this time as a German exchange student. His obsession is Billy Brandt, in a role that suits him nicely. Their final encounter is a fine one and mimics the original in many ways.

That's possibly what makes this video work so well - any fan of the original video will definitely notice certain scenes that will remind them of the first. There are some interesting decisions made - the marijuana seduction scene in the beginning that happens in the back of a van with Ebson, Mark Slade and Brock Hensley, is cut considerably, almost to the point of making no sense. Hensley does make up for the loss, though, by taking both Slade and Ebson's cocks up his butt.

Another great scene is a threesome with Zachery Scott, Kurt Wagner and Rafael Valentino. There is some brief interaction with Ebson in the beginning when they catch him spying on Brandt having sex with Brian Archer but the heat of the scene rests with those three. Wagner and Valentino loving take care of Scott's pretty piece before they each bend over to be fucked. Pre-nom Best Group Scene.

The other standout is the double penetration that Chris Young undergoes with Bobby Golden and Michael Brandon's big dicks up his butt. And this is after he's literally been gangbanged by everyone in the rave. (Think Dane Ford getting fucked by the pool in the first one.)

It's a lot of fun - especially for fans of the first one.
