You have to hand it to Owen Hawk for attempting to break out of the porn mold. This one is a mixed bag, a laundry list of pros and cons. Hawk gets big marks for his ethnically diverse cast. These guys mix it up in all sorts of erotic combinations, a genuine reflection of how sex plays out in real life. He also thankfully chooses to dump the corny soundtrack in lieu of the sounds of natural sex. But there’s no question that Hawk needs to light his models better. The orgy sequence, which could have been over the top, quickly becomes a rolling series of red and brown shadows. And while Mario Cruz continues to deliver, Hawk needs to infuse his films with some new blood instead of using the same tried and true models.
