The eastern Europeans never seem to get the leather theme quite right, and although this one is more shadowy and moody than the norm, it doesn't quite pass muster either. Part of the trouble is that the very handsome cast is too anchored with costumes, which though appropriately consisting of denim and leather, not to mention many other accessories (pants split up the back for easy ass-access are particularly prevalent), there's no full nudity in the entire production. The director relies rather amateurishly on slow, tracking shots of architectural elements like stone walls and iron gates, using skewed angles to convey menace. If you can get past that, the cast works very hard for approval, and Robert Driveman is especially good in the opener, topping furry-butted bottom Thomas Lee. Lee does the flip-flop thing with muscular Drago Lembeck later, while heavy-hung stud Vilem Cage peeps the action. In the resolution of the nearly incomprehensible plot, Cage grabs the spotlight, doing an entertaining solo act with a mirror. Cage gets off on his reflection while he shows off his tight hole and fat, uncut meat, ending the show with a big, splashy finish.
RETAILING: European leather movie focuses on clothes rather than skin.
