Working Girls Press Celebrating First Publication in NY

NEW YORK—Working Girls Press is celebrating the launch of its debut publication on April 30, 2024, at the Bowery Poetry Club in New York City.

The title being released is The Holy Hour: An Anthology of Sex Work Magic, and the Divine, featuring the work of 45 sex worker writers, poets, artists, and photographers. The launch party will feature live readings, music, tarot, and the exclusive chance to buy the book before it drops in stores.

The Press was founded in 2023 by Molly B. Simmons and Emily Marie Passos Duffy to support and promote the work of sex worker creatives. The duo believes in equity and radical practice in publishing. Each contributor will receive an equal profit share of sales of The Holy Hour in perpetuity.
