LOS ANGELES—Wicked Pictures won seven major awards at the 27th Annual NightMoves Awards in Florida.
The star-studded gala saw Wicked’s big-budget productions receiving some of the evening’s top honors, including the NightMoves First Choice Award. A coveted distinction recognizing the excellence of films released after the voting deadline, the First Choice Award went to the Wicked Comix Kenzie Taylor mega-smash Captain Marvel XXX: An Axel Braun Parody.
Parody-specialist Axel Braun also snared several fan-voted awards, including Best Feature Director (Fan's Choice) and Best Actress (Fan's Choice, Avi Love) for his 2019 AVN Movie of the Year The Possession of Mrs. Hyde, while the Best Comedy/Parody/Spoof Release (Fan’s Choice) trophy went to his hilarious AVN Award winner Deadpool XXX: An Axel Braun Parody. In other Deadpool XXX highlights, versatile Braun favorite Seth Gamble earned Best Actor (Fan's Choice) for his incredible portrayal of the “Merc With A Mouth” himself, Wade Williams.
The director's continuing success with the Wicked All-Sex line was rewarded with a Best Fetish/Taboo/Specialty Release (Fan's Choice) trophy for his gonzo hit Axel Braun's Nylon 2. And fittingly for a company which continues to remain true to its mission of producing big-budget adult entertainment for women and couples, Wicked Pictures received the Editor's Choice award for Best Production Company.
